It's a common practice with most designers to alter or twist some of the most familiar symbols we see everyday. This act alone causes most to be taken a back, and recognize that somethings amiss. In the tradition of
Wacky Packages, it's somewhat of a small revolutionary act. Here's a couple I made that were eventually printed onto shirts.

The GE logos subtle benign swastika is made much more pronounced, and the Enron's alteration should be obvious.
